Job Description

This Aerospace Project Manager will support aircraft electrical subsystems programs, leading engineering initiatives focused on the development, integration, and execution of complex electrical systems across commercial aerospace platforms. This individual will partner closely with systems engineers, electrical engineers, design engineers, suppliers, manufacturing teams, and program leadership to ensure technical deliverables are executed on schedule and aligned with program objectives.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), tracking critical path activities, coordinating cross-functional engineering efforts, facilitating design reviews, monitoring milestones and deliverables, identifying and mitigating technical risks, overseeing budgets and resource planning, and providing executive-level status reporting. This person will serve as the primary liaison between engineering organizations, program leadership, suppliers, and business stakeholders to drive successful execution across the product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized technical project leader who understands complex aerospace engineering environments and can effectively support projects through requirements development, design, integration, environmental qualification testing, certification, and production readiness while maintaining visibility into program health, schedule performance, and risk management.

Required Skills & Experience

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of Project or Program Management experience
• Experience developing, maintaining, and managing an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), including critical path analysis
• Experience supporting aerospace, avionics, electrical systems, embedded systems, mission systems, aircraft electronics, or related engineering programs
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering projects from requirements through implementation
• Strong project planning, budgeting, risk management, and schedule management experience
• Experience partnering directly with engineering leadership, suppliers, and executive stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and engineering teams in a highly regulated environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Previous Boeing experience
• Experience supporting Electronic Systems Design Center (ESDC) organizations
• Avionics, flight controls, communications systems, aircraft electronics, or electrical design experience
• Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
• FAA, AS9100, DO-178, or DO-254 experience
• Experience with DO-160 and/or MIL-STD-810 testing standards
• Systems Engineering background
• Lean Six Sigma certification
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, SAP, Power BI, or Tableau
• Defense, military aircraft, or space program experience
