Insight Global is seeking a Data Center Network Architect (DCNA) to join an innovative AI cloud and infrastructure organization focused on building next-generation data center environments. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance network infrastructures optimized for AI and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing scalable data center networks, developing forward-looking architecture strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal network performance across on-premises, cloud, and virtualized environments.

Required Skills & Experience
Key Responsibilities:
Network Architecture & Design-
Design and document scalable, high-performance network architectures supporting AI and HPC workloads.
Develop strategic network topology roadmaps that incorporate emerging technologies and evolving AI infrastructure requirements.
Ensure seamless operability across on-premises data centers, cloud platforms, and virtualized environments.
Partner with facilities and physical infrastructure teams to optimize space, power, cooling, and cabling strategies.
Network Implementation:
Configure and support advanced networking infrastructure, including switches, routers, and high-performance interconnects.
Integrate networking solutions across cloud environments and virtualization platforms.
Ensure reliable connectivity and scalability for large-scale AI compute environments.
Security & Compliance:
Design network solutions that meet stringent security and compliance requirements.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies and network resiliency plans.
Implement network security best practices and policies throughout the infrastructure lifecycle.
Optimization & Support:
Monitor and optimize network performance for AI and HPC workloads.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
Lead network recovery efforts and continuous improvement initiatives.
Documentation & Leadership:
Maintain comprehensive network architecture and operational documentation.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
Drive best practices for AI-centric network design and implementation.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in network design, engineering, or architecture roles.
Experience supporting high-performance computing (HPC), AI, or large-scale data center environments.
Strong understanding of advanced networking protocols and technologies.
Experience supporting multi-platform environments, including:
On-premises data centers
AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Virtualization technologies
Knowledge of data center infrastructure principles, including power, cooling, and cabling management.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across engineering, operations, and facilities teams.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
CCIE, JNCIE, ACE, or similar advanced networking certifications.
Data center design certifications.
Experience supporting hyperscale data center deployments.
Background designing networks for AI clusters, GPU environments, or large-scale compute infrastructures.
Experience developing scalable network architectures supporting future growth and technology adoption.
