Job Description
The billing team at a local utility client is seeking an SAP Functional Lead to support their team. This person will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and enhancing SAP MM and Ariba solutions across procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and invoice processing. The role supports FI/CO integrations including Accounts Payable and Controlling, troubleshoots and resolves production issues, and ensures seamless system integrations using IDocs, EDI, RFCs, and middleware technologies. Partners closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into functional designs, collaborates with ABAP and integration teams on enhancements and interfaces, and participates in testing, system upgrades, and process improvements. Provides project and operational support through documentation, user training, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and system performance.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of SAP functional experience with strong focus on MM and Ariba in SAP ECC 6.0 or higher
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM and Ariba
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Utility industry experience
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Experience working with ABAP and integration teams
