Job Description
This role is an opportunity to join a global fintech insurance company as a software engineer supporting the retirement vertical for enterprise clients. The position focuses on building and enhancing customer and partner portals that serve the retirement user base, with responsibility for developing scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications and cloud-based solutions.
What you’ll do in this role:
• Write efficient, reliable, maintainable, and defect-free code. Design and implement software to meet and exceed business objectives.
• Participate and contribute to software development practices such as design spec and code review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and efficient cloud solutions.
• Utilize automated CI/CD pipelines to deploy software packages in a DevOps environment.
• Working knowledge and ability to use tools to assist with user analytics, logging, and monitoring.
• Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years developing complex, secure web applications using modern client-side and/or server-side technologies.
• Expertise in Angular, TypeScript, ES5/6, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong understanding of component-based development and Angular or similar frameworks.
• Strong C# background and knowledge of object-oriented design principles and patterns.
• Experience with .NET development; .NET Core preferred.
• Hands-on experience building scalable systems with AWS serverless technologies, including Lambda, Fargate, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, or similar.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress or similar tools.
• Familiarity with tools such as Swagger and Postman.
• Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
