Job Description
Our client is seeking a PowerBI and PowerApps Developer to design, build, and evolve internal business tools that support large-scale technology asset management, operational visibility, and budget oversight. This role goes beyond building dashboards and apps, you will partner closely with the business to shape requirements, guide decisions, and deliver tools that are practical, adopted, and valuable. You’ll join a team that has already delivered successful internal solutions, and is now expanding its portfolio. Some tools are live and need enhancement, while others will be built from the ground up.
Day to Day
• Design, build, and enhance PowerBI dashboards that provide clear insight into device inventory, status, upgrades, and operational data
• Develop PowerApps solutions to support tracking, workflows, and data management for technical and financial use cases
• Enhance and expand existing budget and cost-management tools to support broader organizational needs
• Partner directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, challenge assumptions, and translate needs into scalable solutions
• Operate as a consultant and partner, helping define what should be built, not just executing development tasks
• Ensure solutions are intuitive, usable, and aligned to real business workflows
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with underlying data sources and ensure data quality
• Iterate on tools based on feedback, adoption, and evolving business priorities
• Document solutions and contribute to development standards and best practices

Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience with PowerBI and PowerApps development
• Experience with data modeling and creating clear, business-focused visualizations
• Proven ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders
• Product-oriented mindset with a focus on usability and adoption
• Comfortable enhancing existing tools while building new solutions in parallel
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, consultative working style
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience building internal tools for asset management, operations, or financial tracking
• Familiarity with budget management concepts
• Experience scaling internally built tools for wider organizational use
