A client in the Pacific Northwest is looking for a Cloud Engineer to join their team! This position is a full-time direct hire role that will be a hybrid onsite set up. In this role you will be helping this organization with their transformation as they move further into Azure. The technology stack that you will be working with in this role includes but is not limited to: Azure, AKS - Azure Kubernetes, Terraform, Monitoring and Observability tools - Data Dog, New Relic, or similar. In this role we are looking for someone who is exceptionally strong with cloud and understands cloud concepts: Azure Landing Zones, AVD, Azure Advisor, Azure Synapse, Azure Datalake and more!

Required Skills & Experience
4+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer, Azure Engineer, SRE Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE Engineer or similar
4-5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering with Azure and general cloud concepts: Azure Advisor, Azure Landing Zones, Azure CLI, Azure Compute, Azure Well Architected Framework, FinOps and more!
Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) to design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure solutions including: virtual machines instances, storage accounts, virtual networks, Azure AD, O365, etc.
3-4+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC): Terraform preferred, ARM, or similar
3-4+ years of experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS): Understanding of help, how to configure, deploy, and maintain AKS clusters and configurations
Monitoring and Observability experience with Data Dog, New Relic, or similar
3-4 years of experience with the Data Layer within Azure and understanding integrations for Data in the cloud: Azure Synapse, Azure Datalake, Cosmos, Redis, and more
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Networking Background
Ansible
DevOps background: CI/CD pipeline experience
Microsoft Certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Expert
Experience with an Azure Migration
Entra ID experience
