Job Description

The Manufacturing Technician II works closely with the Manufacturing Engineering team to support the assembly and production of instruments on a manufacturing line, ensuring products are built to quality and safety standards. This hands‑on role is responsible for following detailed Manufacturing Work Instructions, performing inspections and functional testing, and accurately documenting work to verify quality conformance. The position requires strong attention to detail, good hand‑eye coordination, and the ability to read and interpret complex manufacturing instructions and engineering drawings, while consistently following safety protocols in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• High school diploma or relevant associate degree
• Hands‑on experience using tools (wrenches, cutters, strippers, etc.)
• Experience with assemblies and troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and batch records
• Strong attention to detail and good hand‑eye coordination
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to clearly communicate with peers, supervisors, and manufacturing engineers
• Able to read, understand, and follow written and spoken instructions in English
• Self‑starter with the ability to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive arm/wrist motions
Ability to work directly with or around chemicals or reagents

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Manufacturing Technician
Experience using hands‑on power tools
