Job Description
Overview
We are seeking experienced Systems Engineers to support increased post‑launch workload focused on Windows driver debugging and system‑level issue resolution. These roles are net‑new openings intended to provide immediate impact by accelerating bug triage, stabilization, and cross‑team coordination.
This is a high‑impact, hands‑on role requiring deep Windows expertise, strong debugging instincts, and the ability to operate independently in a complex system environment. Full onsite presence is required due to secure source code access, confidential hardware, and lab‑based debugging needs.
Key Responsibilities
Debug, triage, and resolve system‑level Windows driver issues across firmware, OS, and hardware boundaries
Own end‑to‑end investigation of complex bugs, including root‑cause analysis and resolution planning
Handle a steady bug load (target ~5 issues per week), balancing urgency and long‑term system stability
Perform Windows driver debugging using kernel debuggers, crash dumps, and trace analysis
Partner closely with firmware engineers, system architects, silicon partners, and hardware teams to resolve cross‑stack issues
Contribute to automation and tooling improvements, including validation of AI‑assisted debugging outputs
Coordinate issue triage, escalation, and resolution across internal and external partners
Work hands‑on with onsite lab hardware and internal Microsoft debugging and validation tools
What Success Looks Like
Quickly ramping and independently resolving Windows driver and system‑level issues
Comfortable owning complex bugs that span firmware, drivers, OS, and hardware
Trusted technical partner to firmware, hardware, and system teams
Strong prioritization skills and sound technical judgment in post‑launch environments
Consistent delivery of high‑quality fixes that improve system stability and reliability
