Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join the Notifications & Settings Platform team. This team owns high‑volume, highly reliable services that power notification delivery (Email, SMS, Slack, WhatsApp) and centralized Settings & Entitlements across the entire Digital Agreement Platform. You’ll work on systems operating at 1000+ TPS, supporting both customers and internal product teams at scale.
What You’ll Do
-Build and maintain scalable backend services for notification delivery and centralized settings management
-Develop and operate high‑throughput, low‑latency APIs used across all DocuSign product teams
-Work on a Quartz/Kubernetes-based job scheduling system that runs critical platform jobs
-Own services end‑to‑end: coding, testing, deployments, and production support
-Collaborate with frontend engineers to support customer and support-agent preference management UIs
-Contribute to system design and reliability improvements for high‑traffic, mission‑critical platforms

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
-5+ years experience building backend services in production environments
-Strong experience with C# / .NET
-Experience building scalable, distributed web services
-Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, others acceptable)
-Strong API design and integration experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience with notification systems (Email, SMS, messaging platforms)
-Exposure to high-scale, high-traffic systems
-Some full-stack experience (Java, React, or similar)
-Experience working with Kubernetes-based job scheduling or background processing systems
