An employer is seeking a Business Process Analyst to evaluate current‑state business processes and lead process improvement initiatives across city departments. This individual will work closely with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, document workflows, and design future‑state processes that improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness. This role is highly collaborative and requires strong analytical, facilitation, and documentation skills. The ideal candidate has experience working in municipal or public‑sector environments and is comfortable driving change in complex, regulated organizations.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a Business Process Analyst, Business Analyst, or Process Improvement Analyst
Proven experience conducting current‑state (as‑is) process assessments
Demonstrated ability to design and document future‑state (to‑be) process improvements
Strong experience with process mapping and workflow documentation Experience facilitating stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions
Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable recommendations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with cross‑functional teams (business, IT, operations)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working in municipal, government, or public‑sector organizations
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
Experience supporting change management initiatives
Exposure to technology modernization or system implementations
Experience documenting policies, procedures, and SOPs
Background working in environments with regulatory or compliance considerations
