Job Description

Our client is a mission‑driven services company operating in the immigration space. They partner with individuals and employers to navigate complex processes with accuracy, urgency, and care. As the team grows, we’re hiring an HR Generalist who will split time between full‑cycle recruiting and people operations, including benefits administration in partnership with a benefits broker, employee engagement, and smooth day‑to‑day HR support.

Recruiting — ~50%
- Run full‑cycle recruiting for G&A and client‑service roles: intake, posting, sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, debriefs, offers.
- Build diverse, qualified pipelines using outbound sourcing and referral programs; maintain clean data in the ATS.
- Partner with hiring managers on structured interviews and scorecards; improve time‑to‑fill and candidate experience.

Benefits & People Operations — ~30%
- Coordinate with our benefits broker on plan renewals, enrollments, and employee communications; maintain benefits data integrity and monthly reconciliations.
- Support annual open enrollment, vendor relationships, and FAQs; draft benefits summaries and how‑to guides.
- Maintain HRIS records, org charts, and personnel files; assist with leaves, policy updates, and HR reporting.

Employee Experience & HR Support — ~20%
- Orchestrate onboarding (pre‑boarding checklists, Day‑1/Week‑1 plans), interview scheduling, town halls, and engagement touchpoints (surveys, spotlights, recognition programs).
- Advise employees/managers on policies with a service mindset; escalate sensitive ER matters appropriately.
- Ensure compliance basics (e.g., Form I‑9/E‑Verify where applicable) and documentation hygiene in partnership with operations.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Required Skills & Experience

- 2–3 years of experience in recruiting or HR; comfort owning reqs and people ops tasks.
- Working knowledge of benefits administration and collaborating with a benefits broker (medical, dental, vision, 401(k); enrollments, life events, OE). (Experience pairing benefits tasks with broader HR generalist duties is commonly combined in generalist‑level roles; see candidate and resume exemplars that integrate broker/vendor management with recruiting and HR compliance.)
- Familiarity with HRIS/ATS (e.g., UKG, ADP, Greenhouse, Lever—tools flexible).
- Strong organization and stakeholder management; clear, empathetic written and verbal communication.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
