A company in Redmond is seeking a talented engineer for a new role. This position combines the responsibilities
of a Service Engineer and Application Engineer supporting our brand-new lab and advanced 3D printing technologies for ophthalmic lenses.

Required Skills & Experience
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering at the bachelor’s or master’s level (Mechanical, Materials, Industrial, or similar).
- At least five years of hands‑on experience supporting and servicing advanced technical equipment in a service or application engineering role.
- Strong practical expertise working with 3D printers, mechanical systems, and manufacturing technologies.
Proficiency with CAD modeling tools such as Fusion360, SolidWorks, or comparable software.
- Demonstrated capability to investigate issues deeply and identify true root causes.
- Creative, adaptable, and committed to achieving high‑quality outcomes.
- Strong teamwork abilities paired with clear, effective communication skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in data interpretation and statistical methods, with familiarity in tools such as JMP or Minitab.
- Understanding of optical and mechanical measurement techniques, as well as experience with FMEA and tolerance evaluation.
