Job Description

An employer is looking for a Sr. ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Developer. This person will serve as the hands-on expert responsible for advancing and maintaining the organization’s IRM capabilities within the ServiceNow platform. They regularly develop, configure, and enhance IRM workflows—building new automation, refining existing logic, and ensuring that profiles, objects, assessments, and related structures function as intended. They maintain IRM data models, risk scoring logic, and system mappings, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk requirements. They collaborate closely with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team to understand risk methodologies and translate them into practical system constructs. This includes building and sustaining risk registers, assessment templates, control structures, and risk scoring models used across the organization. They also work with stakeholders to define reporting needs and then configure dashboards, metrics, and data flows that support accurate and timely enterprise risk reporting. Cross‑functional partnership is central to their work. They act as the primary liaison between ERM and the ServiceNow platform team, providing expert guidance on IRM architecture, configuration, workflow logic, and best practices. They coach platform engineers and technical team members who may not have IRM knowledge, helping them develop capability through hands-on training and collaboration. They also advise on user access models, permission structures, and IRM‑specific group configurations. From a governance perspective, they participate in design reviews, testing cycles, documentation updates, and release planning to ensure all IRM‑related changes meet enterprise architecture standards and integrate smoothly. They proactively identify opportunities to improve usability, streamline workflows, optimize automation, strengthen data relationships, and enhance the overall user experience within IRM.
Ultimately, their work ensures that IRM workflows run smoothly, risk assessments accurately reflect methodology, reporting is meaningful and consistent, and both the ERM and platform teams become more capable and aligned through the strength of the IRM solutions they deliver.
