Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliable operation of production and facility equipment across molding, assembly, and wire processing areas. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining injection molding equipment, auxiliary systems, mechanical assemblies, and electrical systems. You will perform preventive maintenance and update procedures to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime, while also supporting equipment moves, new installations, and production line changes. Additionally, you will use the site’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document work, track parts, and plan maintenance tasks. Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with production teams, engineering staff, and outside vendors to resolve equipment issues and complete improvement projects. Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably including injection molding or automated assembly.
Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics and use standard diagnostic tools.
Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical systems, and basic electrical systems.
Strong problem solving and root cause analysis abilities.
Clear communication skills to work effectively with operators, engineers, and vendors.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-moving production environment.
Commitment to safety practices and following established procedures.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and processes.
