Job Description
Work across an XFN team to develop testing methodologies and test textile materials for specialty applications
Analyze collected data using Python and/or MiniTab, Report data out to broader teams
Expected to deliver data from Mechanical, electrical, thermal, and moisture management testing specified by programs
Train in and complete quantified wearability testing for specified programs
Expected to support maintenance of equipment in lab, and flag concerns to key stakeholders
Expected to be on site full time working in-lab with the team

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years demonstrated Characterizing materials and conducting prototype testing using a range of instruments and equipment, including Instron, abrasion testers, moisture management tester etc.
3+ years experience designing and delivering executed DOEs, Analyze and interpret test results, and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
Develop new testing protocols for evolving needs
Textile, fabrics, e-textiles, smart textiles or similar experience is highly preferred
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working in a research environment.
Degree in Textile Science or related
Cut & Sew Apparel and Garment Fabrication Experience
Experience with textile fabrication equipment, such as computerized knitting machines
