Job Description

Water testing and sampling
Applying the principles of good manufacturing practices (GMP) in a QC laboratory on a daily basis
Conducts routine and non-routine analyses of microbiological samples in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Performs environmental monitoring and sampling of water and gas clean utilities
Supports microbiological testing of in-process manufacturing samples, including bioburden and endotoxin
Creating and revising standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other documents as needed
Performing maintenance of QC lab equipment, procedures and systems
Conducts laboratory investigations, as needed
Identifying and participating in continuous improvement projects
Fully comply with company health and safety procedures and practices
Ability to work Saturday-Tuesday shift

Required Skills & Experience

1+ years of relevant laboratory experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.
Eagerness and willingness to learn
Ability to stand, lift, and work throughout the laboratory and facility

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

cGMP laboratory experience
Knowledge of aseptic techniques
Microbiology experience
Microbiological testing experience (Aseptic technique, Bioburden and Endotoxin testing, TOC and Conductivity)
