Insight Global is looking for an Engineering Technician to work for a leading company in the design and manufacturing of power solutions products. This individual will be responsible for utilizing Python and Excel for running automated tests and collecting data of various opto-electronic equipment and components. This position will be 80% running automated tests and collecting data, and 20% assembly and working hands on with components. This individual will use test procedures, drawings, schematics and other written instructions, and will work alongside a team of 8-10 people within engineering as well as production teams. This position is regular hours Monday-Friday and can pay $30-$38/hour depending on experience.

- 2+ years of experience in high tech manufacturing and test environment
- 2+ years of experience running automated Python scripts
- Strong experience using Excel for data collecting, analysis and reporting
- Experience following test procedures, drawings, schematics, etc.
- Experience with basic component assembly and testing (opto/electro/mechanical)
- Optics experience (optoelectronic equipment and components)
- Soldering experience
- Semiconductor industry experience
