Objective: As a Sr. Embedded Firmware Engineer, the qualifying candidate will be part of the Embedded Software team in developing, sustaining, and supporting firmware and platforms for across the company's product line. We are seeking an experienced Sr. Embedded Software Engineer to help in modernizing and securing firmware for products in alignment with the European Unions Radio Equipment Directive (RED). This role is critical to ensuring the devices meet evolving cybersecurity and interoperability standards for wireless communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test & debug, document, create and build installation packages, and perform analysis on firmware libraries and applications for the existing and new Fluke products.
Design, implement, test, and maintain firmware based for Bare Metal and Real-Time OS (RTOS) for a variety of Microcontrollers and Microprocessors
Assignments include development of new applications, features, enhancements, modifications, and corrections to existing firmware.
Analyze and update existing embedded firmware to meet RED cybersecurity requirements, including secure boot, encrypted communication, and data protection.
Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documents (Firmware & Software Design Document), diagrams, code comments and readable code

5+ years of experience in embedded C or C++ coding and design development.
5+ years of Linux experience
At least 5 years proven experience with developing firmware on bare metal, microcontroller, and/or microprocessor
Experience with source control tools (Bitbucket, Git, etc.)
Having strong experience in both C and C++
