Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Helpdesk Specialist for a client local to Vancouver, WA. As an IT helpdesk specialist, you will be a part of a team providing support over the phone, through remote access, and in person to internal company employees. We are looking for someone with excellent oral and written communications skills and ability to translate these to our internal knowledge baseStrong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Other responsibilities include PC troubleshooting and networking in a Microsoft Active Directory domain, providing support for email, enterprise applications, and web applications, as well as responding to and resolving submitted work orders within the IT helpdesk queue.



OTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting desktops, laptops, printers, phones, etc.
Creating and managing accounts in Active Directory.
Managing Cloud services (azure, Office 365)
Windows Scripting (PowerShell/VB/Python)
PC imaging with Kace imaging software

Required Skills & Experience

H.S. Diploma/Equivalent.
3 years experience in an IT Help Desk/Desktop Support environment.
Certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, etc.) required, without above work experience.
Experience creating and managing accounts in Active Directory.
Experience working with a ticketing system.
Experience configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting desktops, laptops, printers, phones, etc.
PC troubleshooting and networking in a Microsoft Active Directory domain.
Experience performing Windows Scripting (PowerShell/VB/Python) using common scripting languages.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite of desktop products.
Group Policy Object creation and management.
Good oral and written communications skills and ability to translate these to our internal knowledge base.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Able to work flexible hours and shifts.
