Job Description

We are looking to have a Web designer join our development team to run and develop new features to the current website. Consult with client on new feature and keep to the timeline. Short term contract that may turn into longer dependent on needs. Might also involve some front-end development work as well.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills
Proficiency in Wix: Strong understanding of the Wix platform, including its editor, Velo by Wix (formerly Corvid), and Wix Code.
HTML/CSS: Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS for customizing and enhancing Wix templates.
JavaScript: Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript for adding interactivity and custom functionality.
Responsive Design: Ability to create responsive designs that work well on various devices and screen sizes.
SEO Best Practices: Understanding of SEO principles to optimize websites for search engines.
Web Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing website performance, including image optimization and minimizing load times
Additional Skills (Optional but Beneficial)
Graphic Design: Basic graphic design skills using tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
Content Management: Experience with content management and updating website content regularly.
E-commerce: Familiarity with Wix's e-commerce features for building online stores.
