Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Test Technician to work for a design and manufacturing company, with this role sitting out of the Vancouver, WA location. This role will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic components. You will perform testing by following test procedures, drawings, schematics, and written instructions. This role will be working alongside a team of 3-4 individuals (mainly assemblers) and will be 50/50 with assembly, set-up, calibration, and testing of circuits and components, as well as surface mount soldering. Hours will be regular Monday-Friday, 6am - 2:30pm.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+years of electronic test technician experience in manufacturing environment
- Experience with assembly on electronic components and sub-assemblies
- Soldering experience (including surface mount components)
- Experience following test procedures, drawings, schematics, and written instructions to test units
- Basic knowledge of electro-mechanical testing and circuit analysis
- Associates in electronics or equivalent, OR 5+years experience
- Basic experience with Word and Excel

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

+ Previously IPC certified (or any other soldering certification)
+ Experience with SAP
