Job Description

Coordinates activities that support project management and engineering teams.
Coordinates logistics of incoming parts from suppliers to enable efficient internal flow and tracking of parts.
Develops detailed work plans, project estimates, status reports, project tracking and analysis.
Works with finance on purchase orders and supplier tracking.
Manages critical milestones throughout the project to ensure that follow up actions are taken in a timely fashion.


Performance is measured:

1. Quality of JIRA follow up
2. Quality on getting POs placed
3. Quality in logistics of parts handling

Required Skills & Experience

Skills:
Experience with handling logistics of parts in an engineering/research environment.
Previous experience with computer applications JIRA for issues tracking and SmartSheets for schedules.
Previous experience with general computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
Ability to keep information organized and confidential
