Job Description

A well-known energy company is looking to hire an experienced Solar Quality Assurance Inspector to work on a Solar project in Pomeroy, WA. This project is a 142 MW green field solar project that has a target completion date of December 2026. This role will include reviewing engineering drawings, construction plans, and material specifications.
Conducting field audits and quality checks during various project phases. Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and field crews to resolve technical issues.
Maintaining accurate inspection records, reports, and documentation. Support commissioning and testing of electrical systems and equipment. Ensure adherence to environmental and safety protocols, including confined space and high-voltage procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate degree in electrical technology or related field preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in electrical utility construction, inspection, or quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of underground electrical systems, substation components, and applicable codes (e.g., NEC, NESC).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and construction drawings.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Washington State drivers license.
