API Developer

Design and develop APIs that meet business and technical requirements.
Write clean, scalable, and secure code for API development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration needs and create efficient API solutions.
Test, debug, and troubleshoot API functionality to ensure reliability and performance.
Document API specifications, guidelines, and best practices for developers and stakeholders.
Implement API monitoring and logging mechanisms to track usage and performance.
Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and best practices in API development.
Ensure APIs adhere to security protocols and compliance standards.
Optimize APIs for scalability, performance, and reusability.
Assist in integrating APIs with external services, platforms, or third-party vendors.

7+ years of experience in Software Development
Proven experience in designing and developing APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, etc.).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or PHP.
Experience with API development tools like Postman, Swagger, or API Gateway platforms.
Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and API hosting.
Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues in production and non-production environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
