Job Responsibilities:
Following established guidelines to identify content that needs updating
Utilizing AI to assist in making updates, while also reviewing and performing some updates manually
Ensuring the Sovereign Cloud services are tailored for government entities, allowing them to transition from on-premises data centers to Microsoft's cloud
Managing isolated instances of data centers for non-US government entities, ensuring no Microsoft personnel or services are involved in these data centers
Producing and tailoring supporting artifacts such as standard operating procedures, knowledge articles, and training artifacts (though training artifacts are currently out of scope)
Organize material and complete writing assignments according to the clients established standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology
Maintain records and files of work and revisions
Confer with the client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication
Key Projects:
Updating Artifacts: The team will follow established guidelines to identify and update various artifacts using AI and manual review
Sovereign Cloud Management: Managing the Sovereign Cloud offering for government entities, which involves transitioning from on-premises data centers to Microsoft's cloud
Tailoring Supporting Artifacts: Producing and tailoring standard operating procedures, knowledge articles, and other supporting documents for the Sovereign Cloud instances
Data Center Operations: Ensuring that the data centers are operated by local vendors hired by the government entities, with no Microsoft personnel involved

1. Minimum 2+ years experience with Strong Writing & Communication Skills (Ability to write clear, concise, and structured documentation; Tailoring content for different audiences "developers, end users, executives"; Excellent grammar, tone, and readability)
2. Minimum 2+ years experience with developer tools, SDKs, and cloud platforms, with a preference for experience in data center operations
3. Minimum 2+ years experience with Information Design & Documentation Tools (Markdown, Confluence, or Wiki platforms; Proficiency in Git, CMS; Strong skills in structuring content for usability and discoverability)
