Job Description

A large semiconductor company is looking for Facilities Control Specialist to join their team permanently in Vancouver, Washington. A Facilities Control Specialist will manage the Siemens control system on-site, ensuring efficient operation and coordinating panel upgrades with the Siemens team. This person will be responsible for troubleshooting issues like communication failures with the servers and oversee equipment functionality. The role also involves designing new control systems, adding sensors, and managing resources for these projects.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of experience working with control systems in a manufacturing facility.
- Experience with Siemens Apogee and Desigo building control systems
- PLC programming knowledge and experience is required.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments, diagnostic tools, and computer skills to collect data, run tests, and analyze results.
- Must demonstrate understanding of applicable electrical safety regulations.
- Knowledgeable of with applicable codes and best practices like NEC, NFPA 101, NFPA 70E, IEEE, etc.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Familiarity with Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi PLCs
- Working knowledge of Ignition SCADA systems
- Facilities maintenance background preferred
- Cad experience
