An employer is looking for an Oracle Database Developer to work hybrid onsite in HITEC City, in Hyderabad, India. This team is the Commissions team, responsible for the Sales Compensation Management System that determines commissions payouts for various sales channels (such as retail/care, business, 3rd party sellers). They are moving towards a lot of self-service channels for customers, in lieu of direct engagements with their frontline retail/care sales. With the new self-service processes, they want to compensate the sales teams based on prior engagements or referrals to self-service flows. To support this, they are building out a framework from data integration to associating all the relevant data points both old and new to enable that. This is an AWS Oracle 19c RDS application and need a team that has strong database design and development experience. You will not need to build databases in AWS, but will need to understand how they work as RDS and understand monitoring such as looking at AWS monitors, and see the CPU, or needing more iops, scaling down to save costs etc. The team will be responsible for design, development, and testing. They ingest data from 40-50 upstream systems. They consume data and make sense of it, then send it to a calculation engine. They are an OLAP system not for reporting but because its not a front facing system. They work with large amounts of data with tables ranging from 100M to 2B records, and are at the cap of the RDS capability using close to 50 terabytes. All code is in PL/SQL, but use Informatica for orchestration and to consume data from upstream data sources/flat files. This person should have experience with queues (Kafka, SQS, etc.) and should be able to read Java code to be able to consume data, pull data, and publish data from queues.
