An employer is looking for a Merchandising Associate or Manager in Seattle, WA, Arlington, VA, NYC or Nashville, TN. This position is responsible for developing and executing planogram/space planning across multiple categories. In this role, you will have end-to-end ownership of planogram, including executing strategy for your category, creating and updating planograms for new stores and retrofits, and identifying and implementing process improvements, as well as overall ongoing work order process management. You will also build strong partnerships with category management, in-stock and operations teams to drive toward common goals.
The candidate will also need to display exceptional organizational skills and the ability to deep dive planogram and category metrics and data. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to communicate proactively and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders. The role also requires strong bias for action to support flawless tactical execution. Finally, the candidate should exhibit strong customer obsession, as they will have direct impact in the customers instore shopping experience. Data analytics/data base building experience is a big plus.
