Job Description

Responsibilities:

The Ops Analytics team at Alaska Airlines is looking to hire a Technical Product Manager with previous Analytics and AI/ML experience. The Product Manager will be leading three projects across ITS, Maintenance, and flight planning/ scheduling. This candidate will have proven leadership and communication experience. The team utilizes Dataiku in tandem with Databricks to manage, automate, and systemize data using everyday AI. The ideal employee with have experience using these two tools in addition to SQL & Tableau.





Day to Day:

* Drive 2024 analytics roadmap with business partners across multiple divisions, as needed

o Lead and manage BI analysts engaged with divisional projects

o Maintain relationships and communication with business partners to inform and improve data strategy in these divisions

* Define, document, and manage Objectives & Key Results (OKR) process for the analytics organization

o Define analytics (ops, commercial, and data science) OKRs and align with AAG strategic priorities

o Develop a review and reporting process and cadence for leadership communication

* Support Analytics Transformation project

o Contribute to training and documentation of best practices through the transition to the new data platform

o Engage with analytics leaders and business partners for successful rollout of this effort

* Offer agile coaching, and improve practices to ensure better discipline within the analytics organization

Required Skills & Experience

* 5 years of product management experience

* 2 + years of lead experience

o Extremely clear strong communication with team, stakeholders, and leadership

* Experience with automation (even better if it is automating with AI)

* Experience scheduling/ planning

* Tools: Dataiku, Databricks Tableau, SQL

* Previous experience in BI analytics and/ or Data Science
