Job Description
A tech company is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join their marketing team working remotely. The Social Media Coordinator / Content Creator will work with the Director of Content Marketing to develop and implement the social media strategy and create content for the company's official social media platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, creating and scheduling up posts and stories every week and engaging with content on a consistent basis.
* Helps to develop and implement social media ideas/campaigns/posts that ensure brand consistency, support the company's communications and marketing goals, and engages new audiences
* Creates relevant, informative, engaging, and effective content optimized for social media platforms, including static posts, reels, stories, and other digital assets with little supervision
* Experience designing branded templates and REELS for use on social media using various desktop and online tools, like Canva.
* Monitors all social media channels for accuracy, branding, engagement, and needed adjustments.
* Co-facilitates (with the agent concierge) on-going social media training for the team at large. Including support in developing agent social media presence, training on social media best practices, and branding, as needed.
* Responsible for responding to comments and questions from social media followers with accuracy, professionalism, and timeliness, as well as escalating any issues to the proper marketing manager.
* Monitors and analyzes social media performance across channels to determine effectiveness and improve strategy
* Responsible for monitoring social media during non-working hours for any comments or communication that would need immediate attention and potentially requires input from other business units prior to responding publicly.
* Develops effective strategies and tactics that increase social media followers and user engagement
* Edits video and audio files to maximize social media engagement
Required Skills & Experience
1+ years of related professional experience creating social media content across channels for an organization
Extensive planning, execution, and monitoring of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Vimeo and YouTube content
Strong background in graphic design and brand management
Active professional social media participant across all major social channels
Proven experience and success in developing social media content and creating social media strategies for an organization
Strong writing, editing, proofreading, analytical and project management skills
Experience using Sprout Social or similar social media management tool
Experience with using analytics and data to track real-time results and gain a competitive
edge to understand an audience and create meaningful content
Experience with online design and publishing tools
Experience managing content within a CMS
Day-to-Day:
A tech company is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join their marketing team working remotely. The Social Media Coordinator / Content Creator will work with the Director of Content Marketing to develop and implement the social media strategy and create content for the company's official social media platforms.
