Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a REMOTE RCM Specialist with expertise in skin graft, or more specifically, Allograft billing solutions, to work remotely with it's RCM solutions client. It is a salaried opportunity that will consist of building an end-to-end billing solution for a family medicine customer. Initially, the role will be concentrated on production as there is a year's worth of backlog within the customers old billing solution. After that, you can expect to customize a more sustainable solution and map that solution to past, and future coding.



The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Specialized Coding: Proficiently assign accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for medical procedures, diagnoses, and services related to wound care and graft applications.

* Documentation Review: Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and precise documentation that supports coding accuracy and compliance.

* Billing and Reimbursement: Generate and submit claims for wound care and graft services promptly. Verify billing information, follow up on claims, and address any denials or discrepancies in a timely manner.

* Compliance: Stay updated on coding guidelines, regulations, and changes in the healthcare industry, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and standards.

* Audit Assistance: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate coding and billing audits. Implement corrective actions based on audit findings to enhance accuracy and compliance.

* Education and Training: Provide training to healthcare professionals on coding and documentation practices related to wound care and allografts, promoting a culture of accuracy and compliance.

* Communication: Maintain effective communication with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal staff to address coding and billing inquiries and facilitate efficient processes.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4+ years in medical coding

- 2+ years of specific experience building billing solutions for skin grafts (amniotic fluid grafts, allografts, etc.)

- In-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems

- Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or other relevant coding certification

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Master's degree in accounting, finance, healthcare management, or a related field
