Job Description

An employer is looking for an Associate Marketing Project Manager to join their team in Seattle, WA.



Responsibilities:

- Creates comprehensive project plans; detailing project schedule, resource estimates, quality requirements and metrics, and organizational change management activities.

- Ensures completion of all steps required to obtain project funding and resource acquisition approval.

- Defines and documents project work breakdowns, monitors task status, updates work estimates and incorporates new tasks into plan as needed.

- Determines project governance and decision making structure.

- Establishes project roles and responsibilities and provides team members with clear direction.

- Serve as project management support for highly complex and visible campaign work

- Monitors and at times lead project or program schedules to ensure that expected results are delivered on time and within budget, with the ability to anticipate & mitigate challenges and escalate risk when necessary to successfully gain alignment on best path forward

- Develop and manage strong client relationships across all assigned businesses and teams to support flawless execution of campaign work and optimize processes to further meet/exceeds Starbucks standards.

- Facilitate successful marketing kickoffs to ensure creatives teams receive comprehensive briefings to efficiently initiate work.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of Creative Project Management experience

Strong experience working cross functionally

3+ years of Creative Agency experience

Previous project management experience at Starbucks, within marketing or studio specifically

Experience supporting the creation and delivery of creative projects and deliverables with external creative agencies

Project management skills, including all elements of scope, schedules, communications, risk management

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

Ability to establish cross functional, collaborative relationships with business partners, and support cross-functional teams

Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines - Change management skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Highly organized and detail oriented
