Job Description
This team is seeking a creative, thoughtful, and customer-obsessed user experience designer to help us define the future of learning through video. This team is creating a special project to build a new educational media steaming service. You will help design new and existing experience that will have a long lasting and highly visible impact on cloud computing customers. A successful candidate will be highly motivated, curious, creative, highly analytical, and able to work autonomously to drive impact as part of a large growing cross-functional team. We are looking for a UX Designer who is a systems-thinker and highly skilled at establishing and/or utilizing design systems as part of their design workflow. The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed and has experience leveraging mechanisms to collect customer insights and feedback to help validate design thinking. The successful candidate will be capable of synthesizing a variety of inputs into experiences and designs that customers love.
Required Skills & Experience
* 4+ Years experience in UX Design or Interaction Design.
* Best candidates have experience with Video or digital products involving streaming.
* Experience using tools like Figma, and animation tools like Lottie or Adobe After Effects.
* Experience in creating highly interactive and creative UX experiences for consumer-facing or enterprise products.
* Best candidates have experience with Video or digital products involving streaming.
* Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity.
* Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps.
* Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of successfully launched applications.
* Bachelor's degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent design-related field; or commensurate experience.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Display a passion for innovating new solutions that improve customer experience.
* Understand customer needs and mental models through UX research, market analysis, metrics, and feedback.
* Deliver design assets, (mocks, product screen flows, user guidelines/explainers, etc.), clarification and consultation as needed to engineers when UX features are being developed
* Develop and test wireframes to validate new ideas.
