Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Junior Recruiter for a Civil Design and Engineering company who's commitment to hiring the best talent in the industry and helping them thrive professionally is stronger than ever. Our team is looking for a Recruiter who will deliver an exceptional candidate experience and support full-cycle recruiting while building strong partnerships with hiring managers and teams. This person will assist and execute strategic sourcing strategy using all industry standard platforms and channels to help differentiate and promote the company. They will assist with recruiting campaigns, virtual events and college campus fairs, they will follow up with recruiting event participants to gauge interest in joining the company and schedule interviews. They will also source candidates from passive candidate pools including competitors within our industry/market and assist in updating job descriptions and postings that reflect job responsibilities, duties and requirements. This recruiter will be responsible for posting jobs and disposition candidates in a timely manner as well as working closely with the lead recruiter, Human Resources and managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the hiring needs for each position. The recruiter will Review resumes and screen/interview candidates to determine technical and team/culture fit as well as drive the interview schedule process to ensure interviews are scheduled in a timely manner and conduct reference checks. This person will need to draft offer letters, follow up with active and inactive candidates, drive diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the recruitment process, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations as it relates to sourcing and hiring practices.

This role can be remote or hybrid and supports recruitment across the United States

Required Skills & Experience

* Minimum 2 years' recruiting experience

* Experience recruiting for engineers and scientists. Professional services, construction management.

* Experience coordinating interviewers and communicating with team members throughout the hiring process.

* Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems Taleo preferred

* Good eye for talent with ability to quickly screen resumes to identify fit

* Ability to focus on processes and actions necessary to achieve goals.

* Solid technical and industry knowledge with ability to understand relevant technical skills, target companies and communities.

* Independent, self-directed, detail oriented, team player, analytical with the ability to handle multiple roles simultaneously

* Strong business acumen to partner, consult and build relationships at all levels.

* Strong knowledge of social media platforms and demonstrated skills with tools such as LinkedIn.

* Must be highly organized with excellent time-management skills.

* Knowledge of human resource functions to include recruitment, onboarding and HR compliance
