Job Description

An enterprise retailer is looking to bring on a Financial Reporting Analyst within their Retail Technology division. This division is responsible for implementing modernized technology, as well as maintaining existing technology in their new and existing retail locations. As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be supporting the team with financial administrative work. Some of these tasks may include creating and managing POs, contract entry, invoice management, and vendor relations. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis for the projects within the Retail Technology vertical, which may include presenting your recommendations to a business unit leader, as well as vendors. The ideal candidate will be a meticulous and solutions-oriented team player who thrives in an ambiguous environment.



Additional daily tasks would include:

- Provide invoice auditing, processing, and reconciliation to verify accuracy, completeness and consistency of accounting information received.

- Create invoices via electronic formats, verify invoice information to company and government requirements, and obtain invoice approvals.

- Complete data entry into Ariba and perform special PO processing as needed

- Attend vendor meetings to provide invoice/payment status updates as needed

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years' experience as a financial, pricing, reporting, or procurement analyst

- Advanced Excel knowledge (i.e., pivot tables, macros, IF statements, lookup functions)

- Experience managing and tracking POs, invoices, change orders, etc.

- Strong communication to be able to collaborate across business stakeholders as well as vendors

- Solutions-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in an ambiguous work environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Previous experience utilizing SAP Ariba
