We are seeking a German speaking localization manager to join a tech company's global marketing team. This role is a vital part of our localisation strategy -- we need fluent German-speaking team members with content marketing and project management skills. The right candidate will have at least two years of experience translating English-language marketing documents, preferably in the technology industry, can speak French or German fluently in addition to English, is detail-oriented with solid project management skills, and has basic knowledge of SEO rules.
Responsibilities
You will join our global marketing team, working for our Director of Content Marketing and with our European marketing leads, to prioritize content -- beginning with our regional websites and blogs -- for localisation through an established, cross-team process. You will then localise the content from US English to German, proof the content, and then partner with various marketing channel owners (ex. Website) to publish the content. You will attend weekly localisation team meetings where prioritization decisions are made and our content roadmap is reviewed, working in collaboration with stakeholders across the Marketing team to drive an efficient localisation process. You will deliver high-quality localised marketing content that clearly conveys potentially complex concepts to an audience of sales leaders, marketers, and sales enablement professionals -- helping effectively scale our marketing programs worldwide.
