Job Description

An employer is looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer II in the Seattle, WA area. This is a hybrid role and will require the selected individual to come onsite to our client's downtown Seattle location twice a week, and can work remotely three days a week - which two days you come onsite each week are up to you. You will be responsible for the development, support, configuration, and automation of the business solutions on the SFMC ecosystem, solution design and implementation. You will collaborate with cross functional business teams to develop technical solutions utilizing SFMC tools such as Journey Builder, Data Extensions, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Mobile Studio, Audience Builder, Interaction Studio, Datorama. You will provide Platform Support by participating in discussions on how to improve DevOps, monitor automation and journey failure alerts and resolve failures, and remain aware of product release and how that impacts the business. You will be responsible for Data Development - mapping data across multiple data sources, driving standardization and creating workflows that support personalization in customer communications. You will be tasked with Custom Development - designing and implementing API integration services & cloud pages, as well as editing HTML modules/templates.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years' experience working on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Experience in supporting delivery of high-volume email campaigns.

Experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Cloud pages.

Experience in SFMC data integrations: cloud connector, data extensions, integration with external systems (via APIs).

Experience working with Data Engineers and/or Data Science teams to plan and integrate AI models to be used in emails from external systems ie Snowflake via the SFTP.

Experience with mobile application push experience.

Experienced in managing outages, customer escalations, crisis management, and other similar circumstances.

Experience with Admin tasks such as creating roles & managing user permissions, managing SSO and managing SFMC sFTP access, key management, subdomain, SSL Certs.

Experience with Declarative tasks such as creating and segmenting audiences, building email and push journeys, and managing Reply Mail Management and Send Profile Management.

Familiarity with agile software delivery.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in reporting and analytics using Datorama.

One or more of the following certifications: SFMC Admin Certification, SFMC Email Specialist Certification, SFMC Developer Certification, SFMC Consultant Certification.
