Job Description
Global Telecom Strategy and Engineering is responsible for developing network strategies, architectures, designs, and standards across all core network infrastructure including global WAN/MAN, DNS/DHCP, data center networks, network security, remote access, internet, voice, and network infrastructure in the data center and the cloud along with setting the standards for configuration, hardware/software, service providers, and architectures. This person will work with internal customers to understand firewall needs for their applications and help with change management, security and compliance etc. This will be an operational-focused role.
Required Skills & Experience
-Prior industry experience in a high traffic environment
-Excellent IP networking and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols
-Expert-level experience and proficiency in routing and switching
-Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
-Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills
-Strong Cisco experience - FabricPath, VXLAN, etc.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-NDFC - Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller
-Terraform, Python, Ansible and/or Powershell
-Cisco certifications
-Palo Alto certifications
