Job Description

An employer is looking for a IT SAP Solution Architect in the Bothell, WA area. This role works across the company in a dynamic environment researching and providing solutions harnessing SAP technology platform's capabilities. SAP Solution architect plays an integral role in defining and assessing organization's SAP architecture practice. They will help interpret business and technology drivers and develop practical roadmaps to optimize the company's SAP technology investments. Job Responsibilities will include:

- Create solutions, strategies and maturity roadmaps for SAP platforms such SAP Ariba, Success Factor, S/4HANA and related data migration, SAP Fiori platform, SAP Cloud Platform

- Serve as a subject matter expert to executive leadership on a range of SAP best practice architectures, solutions and technologies.

- Develop, document and manage IT SAP architecture technology standards, frameworks, patterns, reference model and roadmaps associated with SAP Platform.

- Lead and drive a cross IT teams in the development of SAP capability roadmap

- Ensure architectures, technologies and solutions align with the company's current IT standards

- Develop solutions that integrate with SAP and non-SAP systems

- Effectively build influential partnering relationships up, down, and across the organization.

- Develop partners indirectly through coaching and mentoring on SAP architecture, best practices, frameworks, patterns and standards.

- Research and evaluation of new SAP technologies

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of overall IT experience with a focus in IT Architecture

Technical experience leading solutions for SAP ECC, SAP HANA migration and upgrade, SAP SaaS solutions, SAP Cloud Platform and various SAP modules such as Finance

Ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather team consensus to solve SAP platform problems.

Passion for optimizing existing investments in SAP technologies

Has the ability to influence with credibility across business functions or technologies with analysis (based on prior experience).

Excellent interpersonal, oral/presentation and written communication skills in both technical and non-technical language.

Strong leadership, project and team building skills -- ability to lead teams and drive projects and initiatives by working effectively with others with a demonstrated ability to work cross-departmentally.

Conceptual and analytical thinker -- ability to extract, analyze and document complex business and technical requirements/strategies from customers and IT team members.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working on utilities processes -- Meter-to-Cash

AWS certification, TOGAF
