Job Description
Insight Global is hiring for a Help Desk Technician to join our client in Reston, VA to help troubleshoot and maintain their Windows OS environment, and work with internal employees and stakeholders to resolve IT issues. This position is a full-time 40-hour work week position and is on-site in Reston, VA for Monday-Friday. You will work on a team of 10 technicians to provide technical support via phone, email, and remote tools. This will include troubleshooting issues that revolve around: MS Office Suite, Windows 10, Network Connectivity, Active Directory, etc. Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting Windows 10 environment
- Taking in and completing tickets surrounding permissions, access, password resets and other issues
- Learn and support users on COTS and company specific applications
- Assist in more complex tickets surrounding imaging, group policies, and SCCM related tasks
- Support Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 environment
Required Skills & Experience
- Ability to work on-site, 5 days per week in Reston, VA
- Associates Degree (or higher) in an IT related field
- 3-9 years of professional experience in a helpdesk or service desk role
- Prior experience troubleshooting: MS Office Suite, Network Connectivity (DNS and DHCP), Active Directory, Windows 10, remote tools, smart phones, etc.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
