REMOTE - Senior Aerospace Structural Design Engineer

This is a Senior Level design position in the Aerostructures Engineering Division. Under general direction of engineering management, the candidate for this position will support design of various crewed and un-crewed vehicles across commercial and military aircraft, rotorcraft, and spacecraft. We're looking for a creative thinker to build prototypes and work through complicated scenarios for design. The ideal candidate will be a divergent thinker. General responsibilities include leading and coordinating the design activities of a team of 5-15 engineers within an assigned project. Establish and communicate clear task expectations. Will employ efficient integration of both composite and metallic constructions. Solve complex structural problems by using both demonstrated and novel methods, materials, and systems.



Additional activities will involve design support, coordination, and integration of mechanical system components/routings and electrical/avionics systems component installations into air vehicles. There will be opportunities for hands-on experience with manufacturing, assembly, and testing.

Must Haves

-10+ years of experience in Aerospace design engineering

-Strong experience with CATIA V5 w/ focus on prototyping/experimental design

-Knowledge of composites and fiber design (CATIA CPD and/or FiberSIM)

-Experience working in an R&D focused program
