Job Description

The Value Stream Supervisor is responsible for converting the master production schedule into a coordinated, executable short-term production sequence for the value stream.
The role serves as the link between the Master Scheduler and shop-floor execution. It sequences Tank & Canopy as the designated pacemaker, establishes required build and completion dates, communicates the common execution sequence to feeder areas, and monitors whether all required subassemblies will converge at Final Assembly as planned.
The Value Stream Supervisor does not replace the Master Scheduler, area planners, or production supervisors. The role coordinates their activities around one value-stream sequence.
________________________________________
Primary Purpose
Establish and maintain a coordinated production sequence that:
• Supports customer ship-date requirements.
• Reduces Tank & Canopy changeovers.
• Provides clear due dates for Final Assembly and feeder areas.
• Aligns all feeder areas to the same production priorities.
• Identifies production-readiness risks before Final Assembly is affected.
• Supports the transition from work-order-driven production to FIFO and supermarket replenishment.
