Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to sit in Arlington, VA. This individual will support the design, development, modernization, and maintenance of mission-critical applications and infrastructure in a highly secure environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep full-stack expertise across front-end development, API development, database technologies, cloud platforms, and DevSecOps practices. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, drive modernization initiatives, automate deployments, improve system reliability, and support enterprise-level applications utilizing modern cloud and infrastructure technologies. Candidates who enjoy working across the entire software development lifecycle and contributing to both application and infrastructure engineering will thrive in this position.
Compensation:
$72/hr to $80/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
Active TS clearance and SCI eligibility with ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly
BS degree and 8+ years of Information Technology experience
Full-stack development experience across front-end, back-end, and database layers
Experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, and Spring Boot
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive UI development
Experience developing APIs, server-side business logic, and database integrations
Hands-on experience in at least three of the following: Oracle, SQL Server, Java, Engineered systems, Cloud technologies, Data integration, Automated testing and deployments, DevSecOps
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
Experience with JavaScript, GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible Automation, Java, PSQL/SQL, YAML, and Terraform
Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management
4+ years of experience with: Ansible, Terraform, Jmeter, AWS EC2, AWS ELB, AWS RDS, AWS Lambda, Docker
Ability to work effectively in Agile environments and collaborate across cross-functional teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Prior experience supporting DISA
Experience supporting DISA mission partners
Modern cloud modernization and database architecture experience
Strong DevSecOps and infrastructure automation background
