Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer to support a leading healthcare organization in Richmond, VA (hybrid schedule). This individual must have 2+ years of hands-on software engineering experience developing enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, Azure, SQL Server, and REST APIs. The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based applications, APIs, and database solutions while troubleshooting production issues and participating in Agile development efforts. The ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver with experience delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions. The pay for this role ranges from $49-$50.48/hour, based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
•2+ years of software engineering experience
•Strong experience with C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
•Experience building and supporting REST APIs
•Hands-on Azure application development experience
•Strong SQL Server or Azure SQL experience
•Enterprise application development experience
•Experience troubleshooting production issues in an Agile environment
•Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with containerization technologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment best practices
• Azure certification
• Experience with Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases
• Exposure to AI integrations, automation tools, or machine learning capabilities
• Experience with Svelte development
