Administrative Assistant (Legal Office)
Location: 626 E Broad Street, Suite 3000, Richmond, VA 23219
Pay Rate: $20-$23/hour
Schedule: 10-15 hours per week, 2 days per week (Tuesday-Thursday availability preferred, approximately 10:00 AM - 3:00/4:00 PM)
Duration: 1-Year Contract-to-Hire
About the Role
A Richmond-based legal practice focused on plaintiff litigation, consumer protection, and workers' rights is seeking a reliable Administrative Assistant to support a fast-paced office environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, client interaction, and administrative support within a professional legal setting.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist clients during intake processes
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
Prepare, organize, and finalize legal paperwork and documentation
Provide general administrative and office support
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Support attorneys and staff with day-to-day administrative tasks
Ensure documents are accurately filed and organized

Qualifications
Prior administrative, office support, or customer service experience
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor and attention to detail
Comfortable handling confidential information and signed NDAs
Legal office experience is preferred but not required
Additional Information
Approximately 3-4 month training/ramp-up period
Fast-paced legal practice environment
Public transportation accessible (located on a bus line)
