• Build applications, automation scripts, diagnostic utilities, and monitoring solutions that support Service Engineering, Fleet Optimization, Technical Support, and Field Service organizations.
• Create proactive monitoring systems that identify hardware, software, communication, and network issues before they impact customer operations.
• Design and maintain Grafana dashboards, visualizations, alerting frameworks, and observability platforms to improve troubleshooting and operational decision-making.
• Partner with the Digital team to define requirements and integrations for Nispera, Alerta, Zabbix, and related monitoring tools.
• Develop monitoring and diagnostic solutions supporting:
• Data Acquisition Systems (DAS)
• OS7 environments
• Linux/Ubuntu servers
• Network infrastructure
• Edge computing platforms
• Fleet monitoring systems
• Develop automation capabilities that reduce manual troubleshooting efforts and accelerate identification of hardware failures, software issues, communication faults, and network disruptions.
• Build tools that collect, process, analyze, and present operational data from multiple fleet systems and monitoring platforms.
• Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) initiatives through automated diagnostics, troubleshooting workflows, and investigative tools.
• Collaborate with Controls & SCADA Engineers, Network Support Engineers, Product Engineering, Deployment Teams, and Field Service Engineers to develop scalable solutions for operational challenges.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, predictive monitoring, and proactive issue detection to improve fleet reliability.
• Develop and maintain software documentation, system architecture documentation, deployment procedures, and operational support materials.
• Support critical customer escalations by creating tools and diagnostics that improve troubleshooting accuracy and resolution speed.
