Pay Rate

$18 - $22 (hourly estimate)

Job Description

• Use GPS units and mapping instruments to locate and collect utility mapping points
• Walk pole-to-pole carrying required field equipment (computer, laser rangefinder, camera, range pole, etc.)
• Accurately run and maintain mapping instruments including GPS and total stations
• Collect, document, and record clear and accurate field data and mapping notes
• Input collected field data into engineering and mapping computer systems
• Process and validate data for design and permitting purposes

Required Skills & Experience

• Ability to work independently with strong time-management skills
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines
• High School Diploma and valid driver’s license
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Ability to read maps, plan routes, and collect accurate field data
- Ability to pass a drug test, MVR and background check
