Job Description

This is a 3-month position and is on site in Alexandria, VA. This position is willing to pay between $25-$30/HR depending on experience and qualifications.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to support our clients Human Resources Business Partners and recruiting team during a temporary coverage period. This individual will play a key role in ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process by coordinating interviews, conducting initial candidate conversations, providing benefits overviews, and maintaining accurate recruiting documentation.

The ideal candidate is professional, organized, personable, and comfortable interacting with candidates throughout the recruitment process. This is a great opportunity for someone with early-career recruiting or HR experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Support HR Business Partners and recruiting efforts across multiple business units
• Conduct initial phone screens with prospective candidates
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams
• Guide candidates through the interview process and provide a positive candidate experience
• Deliver benefits overviews and answer general questions regarding employee offerings
• Meet with candidates onsite as needed during the interview process
• Maintain detailed and accurate notes from candidate conversations
• Track candidate interactions and recruiting activity within applicant tracking systems and internal tracking tools
• Assist with recruiting administration and process coordination
• Follow up with candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure timely communication
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive candidate information

Additional Information
• This is a temporary, three-month assignment supporting recruiting and HR operations.
• Candidates must be able to work onsite in Alexandria, VA for interviews, candidate meetings, and team collaboration.
• Some schedule flexibility is available, including occasional remote work on Fridays depending on business needs.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1-3 years of recruiting coordination, recruiting, HR, administrative, or related experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
• Comfortable conducting candidate phone screens and interacting with applicants
• Strong note-taking and documentation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is preferred but not required
• Benefits experience is not required
