Job Description
The DevSecOps Engineer designs, implements, and sustains secure, automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure across hybrid on‐premises and cloud environments. This role integrates security controls directly into DevOps workflows, enabling continuous compliance, monitoring, and resilient system operations. The engineer partners closely with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to support secure platform migrations, enforce hardened configurations, and ensure system integrity within classified and mission‐critical environments.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerized platforms, and CI/CD automation, along with a deep understanding of security frameworks such as RMF, NIST 800‐53, and STIGs. An active TS/SCI clearance is required, and experience supporting enclave-based or air‐gapped systems is highly valued.

Required Skills & Experience
o 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps, or related engineering disciplines.
o Demonstrated RMF, NIST 800‐53, and STIG implementation experience.
o Active TS/SCI clearance
o Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
o Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
o Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
o Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
o Experience integrating security tools into pipelines (e.g., vulnerability scanning, secrets management)
o Understanding of hybrid environments (VMware + cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP)
o Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (RMF, NIST 800-53, STIGs)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
o Experience supporting SIEM/EDR tools migration
o Knowledge of zero trust architectures
o Experience with service mesh and secure microservices architectures
o Familiarity with classified or air-gapped environments
o Experience with GitOps methodologies
