Job Description

Insight Global is seeking four Marine Fiber Optic Technicians to support our government client in Norfolk, VA. This candidate will have five years of experience installing, tagging, troubleshooting, and maintaining fiber optic and copper cables and electrical circuits. This candidate will be working with various electrical systems such as radar, communication, navigation, C5ISR, and C4ISR.
This role comes with 25% travel responsibilities across various shipyards within the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 6 am-2:30pm EST. The pay ranges between $22-$28/hr depending on experience.

Required Skills & Experience

4 years of experience supporting navy fiber optic systems.
Experience in troubleshooting and installing fiber optic cables and boxes.
Experience installing electrical wiring, coaxial cables, or fiber optics aboard marine surface ships.
Good understanding of Navy schematics.
Active secret clearance.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Former ET, ETV, or IC in the Navy are great fits.
